God of War III to get live stage demo at E3
Surprise surprise, God of War III is attending E3 and will be presented as a live on-stage demo to the public for the first time. Assets such as HD gameplay videos and of course screenshots and quite likely a new trailer are said to readily availible after the presentation. The release date is also meant to be coming during the event as revealed during GDC.
As for details on the presentation itself, there isn’t much to talk about just yet - but BAG are reporting that it will be a more updated version of the same level which was demoed to the press at GDC.

GDC 2009: God of War III Gameplay
As predicted, this year’s Game Developers Conferences has come with a host of new announcements and games for PlayStation. One of which was a presentation on the development of God of War III and how it uses the PlayStation 3 to get the best out of it.
At the end of the presentation, Sony showed off the first ever gameplay footage of God of War III, and while it is rather short and nothing spectacular, it shows off the new Cyclops controlling moves, and does confirm that the game is looking great.
New God of War III Artwork

Rumor: God of War III coming late September
According to multiple retailers include play.com, God of War III is apparently set for a late September release date on 25/9/2009 which sounds about right since Sony recently mentioned their 2009 line up in a press release which included God of War III. Dutch site Gaming Only has found that a lot of game retail sites in their region is posting that same release date as well.
However, as always, retailer release dates are by no mean solid, especially this far off. This is strictly a rumor and by no means confirmation on a solid release date. Wait for E3.
New God of War III Scans from PSM3
Scans from the French edition of PSM3 have surfaced on the internet which include a couple of new screenshots and a few new details. First of all, the developers have confirmed to PSM3 that there will be no multiplayer including online, offline or co-op and no sixaxis support.
The only other thing new in the article is that they also have a small formula which defines God of War III:
Full HD 1080p + No Load times (loading occurs during cutscenes) + a perfect framerate of 60fps = God of War III.
Hit the jump for the scans, many thanks to Hyrius at GT once again.
God of War III planned to launch this year
SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) have announced their planned releases this year which includes God of War III. Many people expected a Q1 2010 release date but the latest official press release says otherwise. However, keep in mind that this is a planned date and things can and probably will change. God of War III Official Site Launched
Sony have launched the official US God of War III website. On the site you can get some good quality screenshots of the latest trailer as well as both E3 and the “Epic Scale” trailer in 1080p HD.
God of War III Release Date coming at E3
It’s no surprise to anyone that God of War III will be make an appearance at E3 in June, however at the recent God of War III press day Sony revealed that their release plans for God of War III will be made public at this years event.
An announcement about an announcement seems odd, but at least we have some hope of knowing if God of War III lies in 2009 to complete this years great PlayStation 3 line up or slips to 2010, the most likely of the two. God of War games usually launch in March, so March 2010 sounds reasonable but hopefully this trend will end and we will see it this year.
New God of War III “Epic scale” Trailer HD
SCE have released a new trailer for God of War III. The trailer is an extended version of the previously seen Spike VGA trailer. Lots of killing and lots of gore. Enjoy.
